Quiet Introductions

Sunday evening, listening to jazz, exploring the interverse, wondering whether blogging carries the evolutionary drive. Never done it, except to myself in years of journals all lost somewhere in boxes and closets, yet not lost, really, in some sense I don't yet understand. Wondering... do people really read these? How is it done, is there, like, a primer or tech manual, not exactly a soul-guide, but has there been anything like this in all of human history? Or is this the latest evolution of cave-paintings and petroglyphs?
Had a weird experience researching the Seventies and reading about "new" developments at Hewlett-Packard. For me, this is recall--for others reading my blog, this may really be history! And then for others, maybe one of you, maybe you lived it, eh?
Really, I don't talk this way. Most days if you get me started you can't get me to shut up. Had a couple experiences with pen-palling around, once as a kid and once again as an adult. Couldn't keep it, though. People misunderstood. I just wanted to know about people, you know, not where I live, not where I work, not where I shop for groceries or papers or jeans. Just reaching out, wondering who's there. Dont' want to twitter. I have too much to say and like to think about it first--it's the writer in me. That's part of who I am/do. I'm writing a book and this is like taking a brain break. Anyway, I'll tell you more about myself if you're interested. There's enough room in the world for everybody and I don't believe we've even come close to maxing out the possibilities.
Oh, the post time is wrong. Don't know why yet, but I'll fix it when I figure it out, if I can. It's really five minutes to eight pm, my time.
